ST. LOUIS – Career politician Jay Ashcroft led the charge for allowing countries like China to set up spy operations in Missouri. A new digital ad from American Dream PAC spotlights Ashcroft’s support for legislation allowing foreign countries to buy up Missouri land – a policy that would endanger Missourians and place our military secrets at risk.
“Jay Ashcroft supports making Missouri a haven for countries like China to set up spying operations across the state, endangering our farmers, food supply and military secrets by making them vulnerable to foreign governments,” said Rich Chrismer, a spokesperson for American Dream PAC.
Jay Ashcroft testified before the Missouri Senate Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources Committee on January 24, 2023 in support of SB 55, which would allow foreign ownership of land in Missouri.
